The mission of the New York Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NYASLA) is to lead, to educate, and to participate in the careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of our cultural and natural environments. We promote the field of landscape architecture and advocate policy positions that advance sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
Our members are licensed and allied professionals and students from New York City to the northern reaches of Westchester County and to Montauk at the eastern tip of Long Island. Our programs provide professionals from the entire metropolitan area, including southern Connecticut and northern New Jersey, with the opportunity to network, build business, and expand their knowledge and expertise.
